The “165 Anti-Fraud” Facebook page reminded the public that the NT$10,000 cash handout program is about to begin. People should stay alert against fraud groups impersonating government agencies. Scammers may send phishing text messages or emails claiming to offer “subsidy collection” or “account updates,” luring recipients to click fake official websites and enter personal information such as their name, account number, or OTP verification code.
