Introduction of Resource Room
What is Resource Classroom?
NCHU resource classroom is also named as Xinwo, namely resting place of heart, which is named by students. We have different life courses in our lifetime. Our heart may be tired because of this. Xinwo is a harbor for us to relieve heart and enrich the spirit at the moment and set sail again!!!
Resource classroom integrates relative welfare resources of special education students, serves as communication bridge between students, parents, teachers and other school affairs units to strengthen adaptability of students on the campus.
Service Objects
Major service objects are students of National Chung Hsing University holding special education identification certificates approved and issued by Committee Responsible for Identification and Placement of Gifted and Disabled Students for educational stage above senior secondary education.
Services Available
| (1) Life adaption service | New student forums, assistant service application, application of mobility aids, adjustment of lodging demands, and adjustment and improvement barrier-free environment |
| (2) Schoolwork assistance service | Application of course tutoring and learning assistance, application of learning assistive devices, and assistance to special examinations |
| (3) Psychological support service | Growth groups, counseling lectures, and referral of individualized consultation |
| (4) Social adaptation activities | Party activities, birthday parties, and various off-campus activities |
| (5) Linkage of support services | Submission of special education student identification certificates, formulation of individualized support program, individual meeting, class placement publicity, and special education propaganda activities |
| (6) Career transition service | New students transition meetings, career exploration activities, individualized transition of graduates, and employment tracking of graduates |
| (7) Resource utilization | Desktop computers, earphones, photocopiers, books, films, magazines, board games and course tutoring space |
| (8) Relevant welfare | Application of scholarship and subsidy for special education students; assist in handling campus parking permit |

Space and Equipment
Xinwo has dedicated computers, photocopiers, printers, books, films, board games, and reading and tutoring spaces for special education students. Welcome students to use these resources, read books, make reports, have leisure and chat. Here are kind teachers besides these resources.
